Amadis Video Converter is an application that allows you to convert to and from the most popular video formats.
It supports AVI, Divx, Xvid, MPEG1, MPEG2, ASF, WMV, DAT, H264, H263, RM, RMVB,FLV,SWF,3GP,3GP2,MP4 formats to reproduce in portable devices like iPod, iPhone, AppleTV, PSP, mobile phones, among others. You can select a preset profile with settings like codec, size, bit rate, frame rate, aspect, audio codec, channels, or configure them yourself.
With this software, you can also rip DVD movies to any of the supported formats for backup purposes or to carry movie clips in your portable video player.
The program is easy to use, presents a nice graphic user interface with a preview screen and support for batch conversion allowing multiple files to be processed simultaneously, but the most important feature is that it supports many formats for conversion. A downside is that it doesn't bring built in codecs.
